The South Asian Sports Network and the greater community is honored to have the following dignitaries attending this event.

Councilman Anthony D’Esposito serves the 4th District of the Town of Hempstead. He is dedicated to making it a great place to live, work and raise a family.

With experience spanning more than 15 years in government service, Nasrin Ahmad has brought a wealth of expertise to the position of Town Clerk. Since 2009, Nasrin Ahmad has served as a key administrator in the Clerk’s Office, overseeing operations in the marriage section and other divisions within the office.

Fazlul Syed is the Senior Vice Chairman of the Board of Pakistani American Society of New York (PASNY)
And a member of Advisory Board in American Pakistani Public Affairs Committee (APPAC)

Adam Haber was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 7 of the New York State Senate.  Adam is currently serving on the board of All Hands Volunteers and will be representing the charity at the tournament.














Laura Curran is a Legislature from District 5 who represents the communities of South Hempstead, Baldwin, Freeport, Merrick, Oceanside, and Rockville Centre. She is currently running for the Nassau County Executive

Former NY State Senator and current candidate for Nassau County Executive.

Zeeshan Hamid is the president of the Council of Pakistani US Relations and the owner of Shaheen Restaurant.
