South Asian Sports Clean Water Project

Based on a recent study 1/10 people in the world do not have access to clean people. Roughly 656 million do not have access to clean water.  Many of the countries most vulnerable to water shortages are in Asia.  In areas such as sub-Saharan Africa, it takes over an hour to collect water every trip. Just think about how often you use water on a daily basis.  Most of the times the people walking an hour to collect the water are women and young girls.  In 80% of the households, this stays true. We have decided to work with Abdullah Aid a reputable organization based out of the United Kingdom to build water wells. The SASN Water wells will be built all over the world.

The thought process is the following

20 people

$11 a month

We pool our money together and build a water well. Our goal is to build a water well in Sri Lanka to start, then in Bangladesh and the in India.

Once we get our 20 we close up and start to build our water wells. We then open it up and get another 20 people

With the goal of building around 2 water wells at a time.

Rinse and repeat.

There is no limit to the # of water wells that we can build.

Every time a water well is constructed, we will have pictures the locations. Many of us have family and friends in countries where we aim to build water wells.
